Cord vs Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

Ok, yes we are aware of the following facts: Please read each "fact" and the reasoning that follows each fact.

1) You can trip on a vacuum cleaner cord and suffer a fall as a result.

Especially true if you are elderly. We don't want that!! So buy a cordless vacuum cleaner if it will be used by an older person!!

2) Lithium Ion battery technology has improved substantially in the past 24 months. (Today is 8/18/2026) So cordless vacuum cleaners introduced to the public in the last 12 months should be much less likely to wear out the rechargeable battery as quickly as models purchased 3 or more years ago!!
With the cost of rechargeable vacuum cleaners falling to as little as $200 recently while other aspects of their operation have improved, IT MAKES LITTLE SENSE TO PURCHASE REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR VACUUMS THAT ARE MORE THAN 3 YEARS OLD!! A REPLACEMENT BATTERY IS LIKELY TO COST ABOUT $150 AND I HAVE BRAND NEW SIMPLICITY MODEL S67 IN STOCK FOR $209.99 (please look at our new vacuums button for information on the S67)

I happen to think the S67 is the best cordless economy vacuum on the market today!! Simplicity has done a superior job of making engineering improvements to this product that put it ahead of most of the major brands of vacuum. (Think Dyson and Shark!!)

Please understand that as owner of West Florida Vacuums, LLC I have had a major change of heart about cordless vacuum cleaners in the past 60 days. I still prefer corded vacuums for their superior power in terms of suction and dirt removal, but the biggest negative about cordless vacuums appears to be getting resolved positively.

The cost of battery replacement has historically been a huge impediment to the overall cost of operation of a cordless vacuum. That is now not the case. I was adamant about not owning cordless vacuums until just recently. Now lets go full speed ahead with quality cordless products.

HERE IS A MAJOR RED FLAG!! **** IF YOUR VACUUM CLEANER MANUFACTURER DOES NOT MAKE THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERY AVAILABLE AS A REPLACEMENT..... RUN TO A DIFFERENT MACHINE!!!!

ALL CORDLESS VACUUMS SOLD AT WEST FLORIDA VACUUMS LLC HAVE THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERIES IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE SHOULD YOU NEED THEM. THIS WILL ELIMINATE A MAJOR HEADACHE FOR YOU AT SOME POINT IN THE FUTURE.

THERE IS ONE VERY MAJOR MANUFACTURER THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERY AVAILABLE> OBVIOUSLY THEY REALLY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER> I don't want to get sued so I will not name them here but if you call me I will discuss it with you in detail.

At West Florida Vacuums LLC we believe that treating our customers well will pay many dividends at some point down the road... I owned my own business for 30 years in another state and had a wonderful customer base. I look forward to building that kind of trust and loyalty again in this endeavor!! Sincerely, Fred Jury, Owner West Florida Vacuums, LLC
